Countdown...5 days to departure.

I got all of Katrina's "materials" wrapped yesterday. She was pleasantly surprised because I had put stickers all over them.

Her luggage finally came in, one piece yesterday and the set today. We've got the "Hot Pink" duffle weighing in at 61 lbs right now. She can pack it up to 75 lbs and not cost her anymore than an extra bag. She is allowed 2 pieces plus her carry-on. So the "Hot Pink" duffle is the extra she's paying for.

For those that are planning on traveling for any length of time I highly recommend that you invest in Space Bags. These are truly amazing inventions. In the "Hot Pink" duffle she has a king sized down comforter, 2 full sets of sheets, 2 blankets, her towels, wash cloths, a flexible canvas storage container, candles, and all of her "materials" packed so far.

Katrina is a lot better from the breakout of the shingles. W-D 40 is an amazing thing. Didn't know it could be used for medicinal purposes. Dried the shingles right up! Of course she took a round of Valtrex as well. She has a fever blister on the inside of her mouth as well as on the outside. She is taking mega doses of L-Lysine right now. Stress can do some much to one's body.

I would know about stress I'm the mom of the daughter getting ready to go to China...God will take care of her as she begins a new life in a new country.

Please remember her in your prayers daily!
